SAN DIEGO – Eleven-year-old Muay Thai Champion Dies After Accident after being struck by a car while running with friends near El Cajon on December 21st. Known for his dedication and athleticism, Kevin Ouda, was training at Pure Heart Muay Thai gym when the accident occurred. He jumped into the street to avoid a dog when a vehicle hit him, leading to life-threatening injuries.
A Promising Athlete Gone Too Soon
Kevin was admired not only for his athletic talent but also for his positive attitude and determination. He inspired his teammates and coaches with his passion for Muay Thai, quickly becoming a local favorite. After the accident, he was rushed to Rady Children’s Hospital, where he underwent surgery and was placed on life support.
Family’s Heartbreaking Decision
On December 29th, Kevin’s family made the incredibly difficult decision to disconnect him from life support.
