Legendary boxer Julio César Chávez made waves outside the ring when he declared his undying love for Chivas. While visiting Guadalajara, the boxing icon shared a big surprise with fans: he is now officially a “Chiva.” Julio César Chávez has proudly joined the Chivas family!
At the Estadio Akron, Chávez received a warm invitation to speak at an Omnilife event. Amaury Vergara, Chivas’ president, greeted him and handed him a special gift: a Chivas jersey with the number one on it. Chávez laughed and revealed, “I just signed with Chivas… I’m a Chiva.” He continued, “As a proud Mexican, I’ve always supported Chivas.”
