Ilia “El Matador” Topuria is already in Las Vegas and the road to UFC gold is mapped out. Just days away from his highly anticipated bout against Charles Oliveira on June 29, Topuria lit up social media with a hard-hitting training video titled “We’re Ready.” The Countdown begins!
The images show him in exceptional physical shape, with sharp reflexes and a level of grappling he claims he has yet to fully display in the cage. More than a show of preparation, it’s a statement: Topuria is coming with everything.
Early Arrival and Total Approach
True to form, Topuria arrived in Nevada more than two weeks early to adjust to the weather and time zone. His brother Aleksandre and Guram Kutateladze were already in the United States supporting Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 316. Now, with his full team, the focus is absolute.
He is accompanied by his boxing trainer Javi Climent, physical trainer Jesús Gallo, doctor Aldo and other key members of the team. All with a single mission: to conquer Las Vegas.
Objective: Lightweight Belt
