Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez(21-0, 14 KOs) proved once again why he is one of boxing’s brightest stars by delivering a devastating third round knockout over Pedro Guevara (42-6-1, 22 KOs) to successfully defend his WBC Super Title. Flyweight Title on Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Wells Fargo CenterPhiladelphia.
Rodriguez, 24, outclassed Guevara, 35, using his size and power to take control from the opening bell. Despite being the smaller man, Guevara opted to pick a fight with Rodriguez rather than rely on movement or defense, which ultimately sealed his fate.
