Tuxpan Prepares to Host MMA Tournament
TUXPAN, VERACRUZ – Tuxpan is preparing to host an MMA tournament on January 25, marking a historic moment for MMA in Veracruz. The Gulf Mixed Martial Arts Association is organizing the event to bring together athletes from throughout the region. In addition, competitors of all ages and levels will be able to join the Mexican Federation of Mixed Martial Arts(FMMA).
A GAME CHANGER FOR MMA IN VERACRUZ
With categories from youth to adult, the tournament will showcase impressive talent. More than just a competition, it offers the fighters national and international exposure. This will allow them to improve their skills.
Local academies and gyms will unite under the FMMA banner. This will promote the growth of MMA as a discipline and sport in Veracruz. This collaboration will create new opportunities for mixed martial arts in Mexico, generating national and international interest in the Veracruz region.

“We are excited to host the First State MMA Affiliation Tournament in Tuxpan. This event is a milestone for our sport in Veracruz. We believe it will open new doors for local talent,” said Agustin Guzman Arellano, President of the Gulf Mixed Martial Arts Association.
“Our goal is to promote the growth of MMA in Veracruz and give athletes the opportunity to compete at national and international levels. Therefore, we invite all academies to join this historic moment,” he added.
