Show at New York’s Turning Stone Resort Casino will be headlined by a WBO Featherweight International Championship bout between Lorenzo Parra of Venezuela and Elijah Pierce of the U.S.
Mexico City’s Maribel Ramirez (15-13-4, 3 KOs) will collide with undefeated Shera Mae Patricio (7-0, 3 KOs) of Honolulu, Hawaii in a women’s super flyweight (115 pounds/52 kilograms) boxing matchup at Manny Pacquiao Promotions’ next live event at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y. on Saturday, February 28.
The event will stream live on Amazon Prime.
In addition, it was announced by the promoter that Liverpool, N.Y.’s Damiana Andrello (1-1-1) gears up to perform in front of a hometown crowd against Waconia, Minn.’s Jessica Maltez (2-3-2) in another super flyweight fight.
Andrello is coming off of her first victory, defeating Keya Reed-Redmond in December via unanimous decision.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, lightweight contender Rodrigo Mosquera III (4-0, 2 KOs) returns to action when he squares off against Pittsburgh native Khalil Sanders (1-1) at lightweight (135 pounds/61 kilograms)
Since scoring a unanimous decision victory at MPP’s first U.S. event in November, Mosquera will put his perfect record on the line against Sanders, who is on the heels of a first-round knockout victory.
Undefeated Brandan Poulard (2-0, 2 KOs) and Chris Pacheco (0-1) face off in a four-round super welterweight (154 pounds/70 kilograms) matchup.
Just one year into his career, Quebec’s Poulard has already emerged as a promising prospect, with both of his victories coming by way of first-round knockout.
In the previously announced main event, Lorenzo Parra (23-1, 17 KO’s) of Machiques, Venezuela will face Elijah Pierce (21-2, 17 KO’s) of Atlanta, Ga. with the World Boxing Organization (WBO) international featherweight (126 pounds/57 kilograms) title at stake.
Additional matchups are expected to be announced soon, according to the press release.
It was stated that Emmanuel Pacquiao, Jr. (0-0-1), the son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, will be added to the fight card in the forthcoming days.
