En Esta Esquina Podcast Exclusive Interview
Host Carlos Baltazar recently went behind the scenes at Combate Global at EstrellaTV studios in Burbank. In Episode 086 of the En Esta Esquina Podcast, fans get a quick chance to meet local Los Angeles amateur fighter Tony “The Tuff Gym”.
Why The Foos Fighting Championship Shifted Its Dates
Originally planned for March, the first ever Foos Fighting Championship will now take place on Saturday, April 25th. Massive fan hype forced a major upgrade. As a result, organizers moved the live television event to a prime Saturday night slot. COMBATE GLOBAL CEO Campbell McLaren explained that the overwhelming response made the weekend move necessary. Founder Lil Mr. E agreed. He noted that fans flooded social media wanting to actually get inside and scrap. Pushing the date back gives them time to evaluate the best potential fighters.
A New Feeder System For Future Stars
This championship serves as a talent feeder system for professional MMA events. They are searching for the ultimate tough guy who beats everyone up at the gym. The California Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Association strictly regulates the card. Additionally, fans can easily stream the matches on Samsung TV Plus and YouTube.
