EK Prosper
The crossover between Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and WWE continues to deliver thrilling action. Following recent appearances by top luchadors on Raw, the spotlight shifted to NXT. A high-stakes fatal four-way match completely stole the show, leaving fans buzzing. The prize? A very clear shot at the prestigious AAA Cruiserweight Championship.
A Chaotic Four-Way Battle
La Parka, Romeo Moreno, Tristan Angels, and EK Prosper clashed in a truly frantic contest. Moreno almost grabbed the win early. A wild superkick rebound sent him crashing onto Angels. Parka rushed in to break the pin. He quickly launched Moreno into the turnbuckles with a huge, massive exploder suplex. Before Parka could strike again, Angels tossed him outside. Angels covered Moreno for a dramatic near fall. As Angels prepared his next attack, Prosper stormed the ring. He leveled Angels with a sharp leg lariat. Next, Prosper crushed Moreno with a brutal running knee. Finally, a stunning top-rope moonsault secured Prosper the definitive victory.
Targeting Rey Fenix Next
This crucial win grants Prosper a huge opportunity. He will challenge Rey Fenix for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship on next week’s broadcast. Fenix has held the title securely since late May, racking up seven successful defenses. He recently defeated Noisy Boy to retain his gold. Now, Prosper faces his very first attempt at capturing a major AAA championship.
The Rise of EK Prosper
Who exactly is the talented rising star challenging Fenix? Formerly known as Eli Knight, Prosper is an energetic American wrestler with deep independent roots. He debuted in 2018 and captured tag team gold in promotions like Reality of Wrestling. In late 2025, WWE proudly recruited him into their fresh Independent Development program. He officially signed a highly coveted full developmental contract in early 2026. WWE recently changed his ring name to EK Prosper, likely to prevent confusion with SmackDown star LA Knight. Armed with incredible agility, immense wrestling talent, and momentum, Prosper is completely ready for his massive championship moment.
