Adrián Gálvez returns to action on September 26 to face Misha Goriashvili at AFC 2 in Pamplona, Spain.
With a professional record of 4-1, the Spanish fighter enters the bout looking to show his progress and gain more experience. For Gálvez, every fight is another opportunity to improve.
“Every fight is the most important one to date. The goal is to go out there and keep improving.”
Ready for Misha Goriashvili
Gálvez has studied Goriashvili ahead of their matchup. He believes his preparation will allow him to respond to the different challenges his opponent may present.
“I’ve studied him, and I’m ready to respond to any problem he may give me.”
That ability to find solutions has become an important part of Gálvez’s development.
Instead of relying on a single approach, he wants to have the tools to adjust when a fight changes. That versatility could play an important role at AFC 2.
Adaptability as part of his evolution
Gálvez credits part of that development to his training environment at Climent Club. The variety of fighters and styles inside the gym gives him the chance to prepare for different situations.
“I think my biggest improvement is my ability to adapt to any problem. I’m lucky to train at Climent, where there are people with all kinds of styles who help me prepare.”
Working with different training partners allows Gálvez to face new challenges throughout each camp. It also gives him more options when he steps into the cage.
Against Goriashvili, he will have another opportunity to put that work into practice.
A new opportunity at AFC 2
Gálvez is also excited about the opportunity to compete for AFC and take part in the promotion’s second event.
“I’m really looking forward to fighting for this promotion. It looks very promising, and I hope I can show my level and put on a good fight.”
The focus now turns to September 26 in Pamplona. Against Misha Goriashvili, Adrián Gálvez will look to showcase his level, test his adaptability and continue progressing in his professional career.
