Late Card Shake-Up
A significant change has hit the SFH 31 main card just days before the event. The organization announced earlier this week that Argentine fighter Pablo Flores withdrew from his scheduled bout without providing a reason.
Stepping up to the challenge is Uruguayan fighter Héctor “El Guerrero” López (1-5), who accepted the fight on just six days’ notice to face Chilean hometown favorite Hugo “La Makina” Oyarzún (10-5).
Oyarzún, a native of Castro, boasts extensive international MMA experience and enters the cage riding a two-fight win streak, most recently defeating Gonzalo Manavella by TKO at OFL Latam 17. Known for his balanced attack, Oyarzún holds three victories by KO/TKO and three by submission. Meanwhile, López is looking for redemption in enemy territory. Having previously competed for the Argentina-based promotion, López suffered a defeat against Arturo Vergara at SFH 27 this past February and is eager to pull off a massive upset tonight.
