Penta
Penta just pulled off the unthinkable. Outlasting a totally stacked field in New Orleans, the legendary luchador climbed the ladder on Saturday night to grab the men’s Money in the Bank briefcase. Now, he has a guaranteed world title shot locked and loaded for the next 365 days.
Pure Chaos Inside the Smoothie King Center
Saturday’s main event was absolute madness from the opening bell. Bron Breakker was a wrecking machine, handing out brutal spears to anyone in his path. Meanwhile, Kevin Owens and CM Punk practically ignored the briefcase just to tear each other apart. But the craziest spot of the night? Breakker launching Je’Von Evans off a ladder straight through the roof of a parked ambulance. In typical wrestling fashion, Evans didn’t head to the hospital—he just drove the battered rig right back into the arena. The climax, though, belonged to Penta. He took out Breakker with a jaw-dropping Mexican Destroyer off one ladder, crashing onto another to secure the win.
The Rest of the Card Delivered
The men’s ladder match wasn’t the only showstopper. Tiffany Stratton climbed to glory, winning the Women’s Money in the Bank contract. Roman Reigns managed to fend off LA Knight to keep his WWE World Heavyweight Championship intact. We also saw Liv Morgan outlast Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch to take home the Women’s World Championship, while Oba Femi steamrolled Bronson Reed.
