OFL XVIII
Open Fight LATAM (OFL) returns to Chile this weekend with a stacked international card. OFL XVIII goes down tomorrow, Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Enjoy Santiago. Earlier today, fighters hit the scales for ceremonial weigh-ins at historic Plaza Sotomayor in Rinconada, Valparaíso. Also, a special guest appearance of Brazilian UFC Star Amanda Ribas. The face-offs kicked off at 13:00 in front of a loud local crowd. Everyone made weight, and the matchups are officially locked in for Saturday night. Our veteran combat Sports writer ATSteveDuncan in on the scene bringing you all the latest.
Nine Nations Collide at Enjoy Santiago
Tomorrow’s lineup pulls talent from nine different countries across the Americas. Fight fans will see athletes from Chile, Brazil, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, and Paraguay. Plus, fighters from Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, and the United States will step into the cage. Noticeably, women’s MMA leads the charge on this card with six women’s bouts alongside five men’s matchups. The first bell rings tomorrow at 17:30 local time. If you want to be there cageside, tickets are still available through Passline Chile. Still, you will not miss a thing if you stay home. The whole card streams live on Chilevisión and the official OFL YouTube channel.
Main Event: Striker vs. Grappler for the Lightweight Belt
Two unbeaten prospects will headline the night for the Lightweight Championship (155 lbs). From São Paulo, Brazil, knockout artist Daniel “Daniboy” Felipe brings a spotless 6-0 record to Chile. Five of those wins came by way of TKO. Back in June, he finished Pablo Correia with first-round hammerfists at Bison Kombat 8. Before that, he chopped down Cristian Gomez with nasty leg kicks at OFL 14.
Standing across from him is Valparaíso’s own Gerald “Mapache” Morales (3-0). Fighting in front of his home region, Morales has been a pure submission hunter inside the OFL cage. All three of his pro wins have ended by tapout under the promotion’s banner. Most recently, he choked out Sebastian Benitez in the first round at OFL 15. He also holds an armbar win from OFL 12 and a rare calf slicer from OFL 11. Something has to give when Felipe’s heavy hands meet Morales’s ground game over five rounds.
Co-Main Event: Brazil and Paraguay Square Off for Bantamweight Gold
The co-main event puts the women’s Bantamweight Championship (135 lbs) on the line. Representing Varginha, Minas Gerais, Brazil’s Myllena “Mão de Pedra” Messias (8-3) earned her nickname the hard way. “Hands of Stone” has knocked out six of her eight victims. She is coming off a unanimous decision win over Beatriz França at Kings Championship 2 in August. Chilean fans already know her power well, thanks to her three TKO wins in the OFL cage.
On the other side of the cage stands Paraguayan veteran Romina “Dinamita” Sorera (3-2-1). Fighting out of Asunción, Sorera likes to trade leather early and holds two first-round TKOs on her record. She is looking to bounce back after losing by third-round submission to Ketny Lima last October. If she can weather Messias’s early storm, she has a real shot at taking the belt back to Paraguay.
