¡Eso! brings you some of the most explosive Hispanic fight action and powerful fight finishes that you may have otherwise missed during the previous week and over the weekend.
Ecuadorian bantamweight (135 pounds) Cristhian “Demoledor” Rivas (11-4-1) put on quite a show in his matchup with Mexican veteran Ángel “Pasha” Rodríguez (14-16) on Friday night.
The 30-year-old Rivas of Guayaquil needed only 1 minute and 47 seconds to take out his opponent, and did so with a crushing overhand left to the jaw of Rodríguez, 38, in the Budo Sento Championship 26 bout.
The result capped off a busy year for Rivas, whose fight on Friday was his third of the year and second victory of the year.
The fight was also Rodríguez’s third of 2024, but extended his losing streak to four consecutive contests.
