Nicaragua gears up for MMA World Championship as its National Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Team gets ready to represent the country internationally. The event will take place in Indonesia from December 7 to 17. This competition is a major opportunity for Nicaraguan athletes to showcase their skills and determination on a global platform.
The flag-raising ceremony, led by Maurice Ortega Murillo, Presidential Delegate, included municipal and sports authorities. Murillo highlighted MMA’s growing popularity worldwide and in Nicaragua. “This sport, though relatively new, has captured the hearts of many,” he said. He praised the athletes’ courage and discipline, urging them to make the most of this unique chance.
Building on a Strong Legacy
