An Unforgettable Night Of Action
Metepec, Mexico-Thursday , December 5, 2024, Metepec will be filled with excitement with a spectacular Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event. The “Función Beat Down MMA” will take place at the iconic Mambo Café Metepec, Metepec, Mexico. Mambo Café Metepec, starting at 8:00 PM. There will be 15 cage fights, which will include professional, amateur and women’s bouts. This event will be held in a venue famous for its vibrant energy and rich tradition in the art of mud wrestling.

The main event will feature the participation of local fighter Jorge “BadBoy” Bellocwho will face Jose Luis “Luka” Patiñofrom Mexico City. In addition, there will be other exciting fights such as the one between Elías “Quetzal” Méndez vs. Mario “Malandro” Martinez. A long-awaited female duel between Jade Moctezuma and Sheila Hernandez is also expected. With 15 fights, the night promises to be intense and full of high-energy moments.

At a recent press conference, Alejandro Botispresident of Beat Down and organizer of the event, shared his excitement. Joining him, Emilio Yamin Fauredirector of IMCUFIDEM, stressed the importance of supporting MMA in Metepec. Botis revealed plans to organize six MMA events during 2025, with the goal of making Thursday fights a tradition in the city. He also assured that these events comply with federal and international standards, guaranteeing safety and professionalism.

At a cost of $500 MXN, tickets offer access to four hours of pure MMA action. It is recommended to purchase them in advance to ensure a place in this unique event.

Emilio Yamin praised this initiative, highlighting that the mayor of Metepec, Fernando Flores Fernandezis a strong supporter of this type of activity.
