Sthefanie Oliveira
The OFL XVI co-main event will undergo a major change. Macarena Aragon has withdrawn from the card due to an injury. Following her departure, Sthefanie Oliveira will face Valentina Escobar for the vacant strawweight belt.
The announcement was made by the organization on Monday morning.
Oliveira is known for being the Karate Combat strawweight champion. Prior to her time in the striking organization, she built a career in MMA, earning a record of 4-1.
In her last fight, she submitted Jamile Calixto at Victorious FC 3. After spending some time focused on Karate Combat, she is returning to her roots to capture the belt of the most important MMA organization in Chile.
Escobar is known as one of the top representatives of national MMA.
‘Vale’ has spent a large part of her career fighting abroad, including stints in organizations like Combate Global and UAE Warriors.
In the bout to crown the first-ever UAE Warriors strawweight champion, she lost a split decision to Jacinta Austin.
In her debut for the Chilean organization, she defeated Aline Oliveira following a dominant performance at OFL 15. Now, she will look to capture the OFL title.
OFL XVI will take place this coming March 21st at the Enjoy Santiago in Los Andes, Chile.
