Luciano “Yiyo” Baldor, of Burzaco, Buenos Aires, was crowned Fedelatin bantamweight champion after defeating Venezuelan Michell Banquez. Baldor, 30, with a record of 20-4-0, used his reach and technical skills to dominate Banquez. The bout was very close.
The judges gave Baldor a majority victory. Two of them scored 97-93 in his favor, while the third judge declared a draw 95-95. This victory marks his second consecutive win, following his great performance against Ayrton “El Gallo” Segovia on October 18, 2024. At 6’11” (5’11”), Baldor’s reach continues to be key in his rise within the bantamweight division.
Victor Rodriguez Dominates in Super Welterweight Division
Víctor “Látigo” Rodríguez, Uruguayan boxer, defeated Alberto Mosquera of Panama by technical knockout in the third round. At 28 years old and with an undefeated record of 15-0-1, Rodriguez continues to establish himself as one of boxing’s brightest up-and-comers.
