ZACATECAS, October 22, 2024 – The excitement in the air was palpable as Jose Alberto “El Teco” Quiñonez graced the inauguration of the Black Mamba Academy this Monday. This new Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) aims to perfect the next generation of Zacatecan fighters by providing them with a top-notch training environment.
Located on the second floor of the Proedo Medical Tower, the academy has an enviable view and state-of-the-art facilities. The inauguration featured a dynamic Masterclass led by El Teco himself, along with fellow wrestler Jazmín “Pantera” Navarrete. Together, they demonstrated essential training routines that have propelled Quiñonez into the elite ranks of MMA.
The participants enjoyed an interesting session which included Boxing techniquestechniques, Jiu-Jitsu Jiu-Jitsu drills and an exciting conclusion with Muay Thai. The vibrant pink tatami, designed to support countless training sessions, was a fitting backdrop for the enthusiastic students, who were ready to absorb every bit of knowledge shared.
As a proud Zacatecan, Quiñonez took a moment to inspire the aspiring athletes, reminding them that. “dreams are made to be fulfilled, just like I did.” His words resonated with the newcomers, encouraging them to embrace their journey in the sport.
At the end of the master class, the students enthusiastically posed for photographs with the two fighters, cementing the day as a memorable milestone in their training. The Black Mamba Academy will become a nurturing ground for talent, with plans to welcome even more aspiring fighters in the future.
