Boxing showdown scheduled for Oct. 4 in Los Mochis
Los Mochis, Sinaloa – The Benito Juarez Garcia Auditorium will host an action-packed night of professional boxing on Friday, October 4, 2024. Headlining the event will be an exciting fight between local fighterJorge Ampelio “Moreno” Llamas and Juan Bracamontes from Hermosillo. The two will fight for the World Boxing Council(WBC) Western Regional Light Heavyweight Championship. The event was announced by promoter Pedro Mora during a press conference held today, Monday, September 23, 2024.
This highly anticipated fight night will feature former IBF Super Flyweight World Champion Juan Carlos “Zurdito” Sanchez and a lineup of rising stars such as Rafael Gil, Marvik Ruiz, Hector Astorga and more. Organized by Mora Box Promotions, the event promises an exciting evening of boxing, with doors opening at 8:00 p.m. at the Benito Juarez Garcia Auditorium.

Tickets are now available for this professional boxing event, priced at 100 and 200 pesos. Fans can purchase their tickets by calling 6682 22 29 96, or they can be purchased at the auditorium box office on the night of the fight.
The co-main event will feature Mochi’s own Rafael Gil, who will face a yet-to-be-named opponent in a six-round contest at 67-68 kilograms. Meanwhile, Obregon’s David “Zamorita” Reyes will take on Ahomen’s Axel “Cañonero” Ahumada in another six-round fight in the super featherweight division.
One of the night’s highlights will be the six-round super lightweight bout between Mochitense fighters Marvik Ruiz and Hector Astorga. Fans can also look forward to the return of former world champion Juan Carlos “Zurdito” Sanchez Terrones, who will face Guasaven’s Jesus Rendon in a six round bout in the super flyweight division, a category where Sanchez once reigned.
Additional fights to watch
Kevin Audeves from Ejido Taxtes will face Miguel Armando Martinez from Guamúchil in a six round super lightweight bout. In addition, Jassiel Sanchez from Mochis will face Abimael Sanchez from Alvarado in what promises to be an explosive showdown.
In another exciting fight, Mochitense fighters Omar Gonzalez and Pedro Gonzalez will face each other in a four round bout, while Abraham Perea will face Brayan Sanchez at 73 kilograms.
Other local talents, including Alejandro Lara, Samyr Arce, Guadalupe Ruiz and Hermes Vega, will also step into the ring, with opponents to be determined.
