The flyweight rematch will air live on pay-per-view television from Los Angeles as a featured fight on the card headlined by the WBC world cruiserweight championship rematch between Badou Jack and Noel Mikaelian
Mexican American standout boxer Gloria Munguilla (8-2) will return to the squared circle in a WBC International Flyweight (112 pounds/51 kilograms) Championship contest against past rival Brook “Mighty” Sibrian (8-2, 4 KO’s) at Ace * Mission Studios in Los Angeles on Saturday, December 13.
The 10 round title fight between 33-year-old Munguilla of Los Angeles and Sibrian, 32, of Coachella, will air live on pay-per-view as a featured bout on the Bash Boxing show headlined by the world cruiserweight championship rematch between Badou Jack (29-3-3, 17 KO’s)) and Noel Mikaelian (27-3, 12 KO’s).
The second meeting between Munguilla and Sibrian will take place 11 months after their first battle that was dubbed a “classic” fight, and that Munguilla was the winner of by way of unanimous decision.
Munguilla, in what will be her fourth fight of a relatively busy 2025, is aiming to rebound from a September 20 unanimous decision defeat at the hands if Thalia Pineiro.
Sibrian, however, will be looking for her fourth consecutive victory after scoring a seventh round (0:53) knockout in a relatively one-sided fight, on Katherine Renne Lindenmutn, who had previously never been stopped in a bout, on August 2.
Sibriian turned professional only two years ago at the age of 30, and has quickly gained a reputation for being a power puncher, taking out four of her eight professional opponents to date by way of (T)KO.
