Serrano vs. Cruz 2
Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) has officially finalized the card for the massive Amanda Serrano vs. Erika Cruz 2 rematch. Set for Saturday, January 3, at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, the event promises to be a historic celebration of boxing. Today, MVP announced that former world champion Ebanie Bridges will join the card, alongside seven additional local fighters. Consequently, the event now features 15 Boricua boxers, highlighting Puerto Rico’s deep combat sports legacy.
“The Blonde Bomber” Makes Her MVP Debut
Ebanie Bridges (9-2, 4 KOs) returns to the ring to face Alexis Araiza (3-2-1, 1 KO) in an eight-round bantamweight clash. This fight marks a significant chapter for Bridges. It is her first bout since becoming a mother and her debut under the MVP banner. The Australian star is on a mission to reclaim gold and inspire women in sports.
“I can’t wait to do what I do best: entertain,” said Bridges. “Puerto Ricans are known for their heart, and those qualities are in my fundamentals.”
A Celebration of Boricua Boxing Talent
The undercard is heavily stacked with local talent. MVP’s sensation Krystal Rosado faces Canada’s Tania Walters in a bout contested under men’s rules with three-minute rounds. Furthermore, the card features exciting matchups including Abner Figueroa vs. Edwin Rodriguez and Yandiel Lozano vs. Johniel Ramos Cotto.
Undefeated prospect Alex “Chop Chop” Chaparro (6-0, 6 KOs) also returns to action against Augusto Leal. Additionally, former champion Raquel Miller makes her promotional debut. In total, these additions transform the night into one of the most Puerto Rico-powered cards in history.
