El Hijo del Santo’s Farewell in Veracruz

El Hijo del Santo, the legendary wrestler and son of the great El Santo, will enter the ring for the last time in Veracruz. The long awaited farewell match will take place on April 26, 2025, at 5:00 PM, at the Benito Juarez Auditorium, promising an unforgettable night for all wrestling fans.

Hijo del Santo, born Jorge Ernesto Guzman Rodriguez on August 2, 1963, has spent more than four decades in the ring, keeping the legacy of his father, El Santo, alive. His career spans several promotions, including CMLL, AAA, and international stints in the U.S. and Japan. El Hijo del Santo’s in-ring skills and larger-than-life personality have earned him numerous championships, including the AAA World Tag Team Championship and the UWA Welterweight Championship.
Beyond wrestling, he became a pop culture icon, appearing in movies, animated series and advocating for environmental causes. His legacy continues through his son, Santo Jr.
