Montalvo has been a gym legend in Las Vegas, where rumors of his sparring prowess have been all over the city’s boxing scene. Born and raised in Vegas with Sinaloan roots, Montalvo is trained and managed by Armando Flores, who has guided him since his first day at the gym more than a decade ago.
