La emotiva ceremonia tuvo lugar el viernes por la ma\u00f1ana en La Fortaleza -la mansi\u00f3n de la Gobernadora en San Juan- y se retransmiti\u00f3 en directo a trav\u00e9s de las redes sociales oficiales de la Gobernadora Jennifer Gonz\u00e1lez. <\/p>\n\n<p>Mat\u00edas obtuvo su cintur\u00f3n verde y oro tras una emocionante victoria por decisi\u00f3n mayoritaria sobre el contendiente dominicano <a href=\"https:\/\/fajador.com\/es\/alberto-puello-video-subtitulado-conservare-mi-titulo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alberto \u00abAvispa\u00bb Puello <\/a>el 12 de julio en el<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Louis_Armstrong_Stadium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> estadio Louis Armstrong<\/a> de<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/New_York_City\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Nueva York<\/a>. Entre ellas se encontraban el presidente del CMB, Mauricio Sulaim\u00e1n, el presidente de la Federaci\u00f3n Centroamericana de Boxeo, Alberto Guerra, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Juan_Laporte\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">el ex campe\u00f3n mundial Juan Laporte<\/a> y el representante del CMB en Puerto Rico<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/edgardo.l.sasso\/?_rdr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">, Edgardo L\u00f3pez.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n<p>El gobernador Gonz\u00e1lez abri\u00f3 la ceremonia destacando el car\u00e1cter hist\u00f3rico del momento: \u00abEs la primera vez que se celebra una ceremonia oficial del CMB en La Fortaleza. Es un hito no s\u00f3lo para Subriel, sino para el deporte puertorrique\u00f1o en su conjunto.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n<p>Sulaim\u00e1n entreg\u00f3 al Gobernador un Mini Cintur\u00f3n conmemorativo antes de pasar a la pieza central de la ceremonia: la coronaci\u00f3n oficial de Subriel Mat\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>  \u00abTodos los grandes campeones han llevado este Cintur\u00f3n Verde y Oro. La rica historia de la isla est\u00e1 definida por leyendas que han cautivado la imaginaci\u00f3n de los aficionados de todo el mundo. <\/p>\n\n<p>La historia comenz\u00f3 con Sixto Escobar, el primer campe\u00f3n mundial de la isla en 1934.
