Su actuaci\u00f3n llen\u00f3 de energ\u00eda a la delegaci\u00f3n dominicana y asegur\u00f3 su posici\u00f3n como atleta destacada. A lo largo de los a\u00f1os, ha cosechado numerosas medallas en el ciclo ol\u00edmpico y en otros torneos internacionales.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>El\u00edas Cama\u00f1o<\/strong>, pionero del taekwon-do, se convirti\u00f3 en el primer dominicano en recibir la certificaci\u00f3n de \u00e1rbitro internacional en<em><strong> 1991<\/strong><\/em>. Ha oficiado en prestigiosos eventos en pa\u00edses como <em>Aruba, Puerto Rico y Costa Rica<\/em>.
