On Wednesday , November 20, 2024, Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa and Stephen Fulton Jr. confirmed their long-awaited rematch. This exciting bout will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two fighters are looking to prove who is the best in the World Boxing Council (WBC) featherweight division.
The first time they met was in November 2021. On that occasion, Fulton defeated Figueroa by majority decision in a memorable fight. Now, both promise that this second part will be even more intense and exciting.

Figueroa is determined to overcome his previous defeat.
“I’ve been waiting for this fight for three years,” he commented. “The defeat taught me a lot and lit a flame in me that won’t go out. I don’t plan to let the judges decide this one.”

“I’m evolving as a fighter. My goal is to make it clear that I am the best at 126 pounds. Also, I want to show that I can face the best in the world, including Naoya Inoue.”

“I already know how Figueroa fights, and I know how to beat him,” he said. “This time I will not only win, but I will win in a resounding manner. My goal is to become a two-division world champion.”

“I’m bigger, stronger and ready to prove that I can finish this fight before the end. On February 1, I will make it clear who the real champion is.”
