MVP MMA
The first MVP MMA card is not going unnoticed, and has added another big name to the first MMA card that will be broadcast live on Netflix. Former Bellator champion Jason Jackson will face Lorenz Larkin. The bout was confirmed by Alex Behunin of MMA Mania on Tuesday night.
Jackson became known for his stint on season 21 of The Ultimate Fighter. After capturing the LFA belt, he had a brief run on the Contender Series. Sometime later, he signed a contract with Bellator, crowning himself welterweight champion after knocking out Yaroslav Amosov at Bellator 301. Following PFL’s purchase of Bellator, he has been alternating between losses and wins.
In his last PFL bout, he lost to Thad Jean after an explosive contest. Prior to that fight, he submitted former Bellator champion Andrey Koreshkov.
Larkin is known for being one of the sport’s veterans. Following his debut in 2009, he had stints in Strikeforce, the UFC, and Bellator MMA. The local favorite and former Bellator title challenger is on a two-fight win streak. In his last bout, he knocked out Levan Chokheli.
Now, he will have a fresh start in an organization that has not gone unnoticed in the boxing world, and which surprised everyone after announcing its arrival to the MMA market. Rousey vs.
