It is a moment of immense pride for Mexico. Young athletes from the Predators Fighting Club in Salamanca have made history. Recently, the Government Board of the Guanajuato State Congress recognized these warriors for their historic triumph at the XFC World Championship in Rome, Italy.
A Historic Celebration in Mineral de Pozos
The emotional ceremony took place at a historic venue. The event was held at the “Escuela Modelo” Museum of Arts and Crafts in Mineral de Pozos. Here, representatives from seven parliamentary groups gathered to celebrate the discipline and strength of these athletes.
Furthermore, the Congress highlighted the team’s perseverance. Using their own resources and tireless effort, these fighters raised the name of Salamanca and Guanajuato on a global stage.
Meet the Champions and Their Team
During the ceremony, the spotlight was on the specific athletes who brought glory home. The honorees included:
- Reyna Alejandro Vido Hernández
- Daniel Amézquita Fuentes
- Samantha Segura Fragoso
- Diego Armando Laguna Cárdenas
However, this collective achievement required a strong support system. Therefore, recognition was also given to the team behind the fighters, including Coach Ricardo Villalón, José Juan Rojano, and the Novaria Medik group.

Moreover, the initial support from Deputy Sergio Contreras was a key impulse before their trip to Europe.
