Fundora vs. Thurman
The road to one of the biggest boxing nights of 2025 has officially started in Los Angeles. WBC Super Welterweight Champion Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora went face-to-face with former unified world champion Keith “One Time” Thurman for the first time. The press conference, held September 3 at The Mayan in LA, set the tone for their PBC Pay-Per-View showdown. Fans worldwide can watch it live on Prime Video from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on October 25.
A Night of Champions
However, the spotlight was not only on Fundora and Thurman. Two-division world champion Stephen Fulton Jr. and current WBC Featherweight Champion O’Shaquie Foster also made headlines as they promoted their 130-pound title clash. This fight will serve as the co-main event, adding even more excitement.
Additionally, rising Mexican contender Jesús “Mono” Ramos Jr. drew attention by promising fireworks when he meets Shane Mosley Jr. for the WBC Interim Middleweight Title. As a result, fans can expect nonstop action throughout the night.
Meanwhile, undefeated Mexican prospect Isaac “La Bestia” Lucero is scheduled to open the card in a super welterweight bout. With this stacked lineup, the October event is quickly shaping up as one of the most anticipated boxing shows of the year.
Fighters Bring the Fire
Fundora, confident in his reign, declared that October 25 will prove why he is the face of the 154-pound division. Thurman, never short of charisma, promised fans a fight they can’t miss, saying he’s ready to climb boxing’s “Mount Everest.” Fulton vowed to become a three-division world champion, while Foster countered that his skills will silence doubters. Meanwhile, Ramos boldly predicted a knockout against Mosley.
