The most electrifying fight of the day came courtesy of French knockout artist Samba Sima. Taking on Irish European champion Flobater FaresSima closed the distance with explosive power and connected with a decisive shot at the end of the first round. The referee stepped in as Sima unleashed a barrage of punches, scoring an impressive Technical Knockout victory and further elevating his value as a future professional contender.
The solid performance of the Spanish Team continued with Stella Ábalos Montoya, Isabel Calvo y Mercedes Custodio López joining Hervías in the final. The day’s action didn’t end for the history-making hopefuls either: Finland’s Sani Brännfors Sani Brännfors took a step closer to becoming the First Woman to win IMMAF gold at the Junior, Youth and Senior Levels by defeating France’s Lina Hammouche, who won the IMMAF gold medal at the Junior, Youth and Senior Levels.
