Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz seeks a comeback in 2025
MEXICO CITY – Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz is looking for a comeback in 2025. To do so, he will face fellow Mexican boxer Angel Fierro this Saturday, February 1 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This exciting bout will be part of the PBC Pay-Per-View event, broadcast live on Prime Video, where Cruz hopes to start the year with a resounding victory.
“We are very excited, almost ready and prepared to see everyone in Las Vegas this week,” said Cruz. “The fans are anxious to see us back in the ring – and what better way to kick off 2025 than with a Mexican duel!”.
A return to the T-Mobile Arena
The 26-year-old Cruz will return to the T-Mobile Arena for the third time in his career after scoring an unforgettable knockout against ‘Rolly’ Romero last March. That victory, in front of a crowd of passionate fans, marked an important milestone in Cruz’s career and was a memorable moment in his rise in the boxing world.
“I remember my first time fighting in Las Vegas. It was the culmination of years of hard work,” Cruz reflected. “Every Mexican boxer dreams of fighting under the bright lights of Las Vegas. I’m so grateful to be back, and the love and support from the fans makes it feel as special as the first time.”
A comeback after the stumble
Cruz will return to the ring for the first time since his tough loss last August, where he lost his championship belt in a hard-fought decision. Now, he is focused and ready to get back on track.
“This February 1 fight is my chance to start over,” commented Cruz. “The fans love these types of matchups, and I fight for them. I’ve had a fantastic camp, and I’ll be in my best shape when the bell rings. The goal is to get back on top and be part of the biggest fights. I’m ready to shine.
