Juárez Athlete Support Scores Big
Great news is finally here for our local sports heroes in Ciudad Juárez. During a recent and pivotal meeting of the Commission of Sport and Physical Culture, city leaders made a game-changing decision. They have officially authorized significant economic aid for local competitors. This new wave of Juárez athlete support ensures that our brightest stars can proudly represent the city on both national and world stages.
Commission Approves 110k Pesos
The initiative was led by Councilwoman and Commission Coordinator, Karla Michaeel Escalante Ramírez. She worked closely with her colleagues, Mayra Karina Castillo Tapia and Laura Fernanda Avalos Medina. Together, they carefully analyzed various requests for financial assistance.
Ultimately, the councilwomen agreed to approve eight specific proposals. This decision results in a total of 110,000 pesos in aid. Consequently, this funding will directly benefit 78 dedicated athletes. The goal is simple yet powerful: to reduce the heavy financial burden of competition expenses.
From Mazatlán to China
This financial boost covers travel to several exciting destinations. Athletes are preparing to head to the Chihuahua City, Mazatlán, and Sinaloa. Furthermore, some competitors are even traveling as far away as China to compete.
The funds will support a variety of disciplined sports. Specifically, the beneficiaries are competing in martial arts, boxing, and soccer. By covering these costs, the commission allows these athletes to focus purely on their training and performance rather than their wallets.
