In a major announcement, Karla Davila, better known as “KarlyRou,” has been added to the highly anticipated first edition of Big Time Boxing Puerto Rico, scheduled for Friday, October 18 at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan. The undefeated boxer and urban music performer will showcase her skills in the ring in an event presented by Salita Promotions, PR Best Boxing Promotions and 21 Events, with global broadcast on DAZN.
At 24 years old, Karla Davila has quickly made a name for herself in the boxing world. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she has an undefeated record of 2-0, with 1 knockout, and is currently ranked #87 out of 201 fighters in the super bantamweight division. Surprisingly, she is ranked #1 in Puerto Rico, making her one of the top up-and-coming talents in the country.
Davila, who debuted on February 3, 2024, has already fought five professional rounds, with a 50% knockout rate. Her orthodox stand-up and relentless fighting style have made her a formidable opponent and she is eager to return to the ring for her third professional fight.

Main event features undefeated fighters Pagan vs. Thonson
The main event will feature an exciting clash between undefeated fighters Joshua James Pagan (10-0, 4 KO) of Puerto Rico and Trevor Thonson (13-0, 10 KO) of Canada. Both fighters will put their perfect records on the line in a 10-round lightweight fight that is expected to be the highlight of the night.
In the co-main event, Colombian Juan Carrillo (12-0, 9 KO) will face former Dominican world challenger Lenin Castillo (25-5-1, 19 KO) in a light heavyweight clash that will also go 10 rounds. Boxing star Kiria Tapia also ready for action
Joining Davila on the women’s side is Kiria Tapia, one of Puerto Rico’s most decorated boxers. Tapia, a gold medalist at both the Central American and Caribbean Games and the Pan American Games, has an undefeated professional record of 4-0. 4-0. She will compete in an eight-round fight at 130 pounds, further elevating the evening’s card with her talent and experience.
Boxing newcomer Allen Morales to make his professional debut
Former Puerto Rican National Team member Allen Morales will make his long-awaited professional debut on the card, fighting in a four-round bantamweight 118-pound bout. Known for his speed and technical ability, Morales is eager to begin his professional career at home.
