Kevin Vallejos Vs Jean Silva
Kevin Vallejos spoke about the possibility of facing Jean Silva again in the UFC.The Argentine, who is sitting at tenth in the featherweight rankings after knocking out Josh Emmett in the main event of UFC Vegas 114, believes they will meet again sooner or later. In an interview with The Ariel Helwani Show, Vallejos made it clear that he believes the rematch is just a matter of time.
Argentina’s rising star in the octagon is confident about setting up another bout with the Brazilian. According to Kevin, even if the fight doesn’t happen right away, they will cross paths again at some point in the future.
“I am not desperate or obsessed with that fight, but I know I am getting closer and closer to my rematch with Jean Silva.”
“I know that’s going to happen. It could be in the next fight or it could take a little longer, but I am certain that the rematch is going to happen at some point,” Vallejos said in an interview.
Both Kevin Vallejos and Jean Silva are enjoying a great run in the octagon. Both won their latest bouts and entered the Top 10 of the rankings. Silva defeated Arnold Allen at UFC 324 this past January. Following the victory, he climbed from eleventh to sixth place.
On the other hand, ‘El Chino’ was sitting at fourteenth in the rankings, but after his brutal knockout victory against Josh Emmett on Saturday afternoon, he moved up to the tenth position.
