Reigning Up Next Fighting (UNF) Flyweight (125 pounds/56 kilograms) Champion Gianni “Kriptonita” Vazquez (10-4-1) will defend his MMA title against Victor Rosas (7-2-1, 1 NC) at Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, Calif. on Saturday, Nov. 30.
The fight will be the 30-year-old Vazquez’s second title defense since the Mexico City, Mexico native won the championship with a second round (3:55) TKO (punches) on Narek Avagyan on September 2, 2023.
Vazquez, to date, is the only fighter to have ever defeated former Combate Global world bantamweight (135 pounds/61 kilograms) champion David “The Black Spartan” Martinez, who recently earned a UFC contract.
The 36-year-old Rosas hails from Escondido, Calif. and will fight under MMA rules for the first time this year after competing in bare-knuckle boxing for Bareknuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) in both April and July, when he defeated Luis Iniguez by split decision.
