The LSM Open Championship (Liga del Sur de México) in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu offers a golden opportunity for young talents aiming to break into professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Scheduled for Saturday, November 30, 2024, the tournament will take place at the Efraín Fernández Castillejos Municipal Auditorium in Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
Adán Castillejos Gallegos, director of EFA Chiapas and creator of the GOAT MMA league, emphasized the championship’s significance. This event will spotlight athletes’ ground-fighting skills, providing a pathway to professional recognition. Competitors will be under the watchful eyes of Castillejos and his collaborators, scouting for promising fighters who could one day headline GOAT MMA events.
Participants Across Regions
This year’s championship expects a strong turnout from competitors across Chiapas, Yucatán, Campeche, Oaxaca, Tabasco, Coahuila, and even Guatemala. Categories include Children’s, Junior, Adult, and Masters, ensuring a diverse competition that celebrates skill development at all levels.
