Lucha Libre AAA
Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide returned with high-octane action on February 7, 2026. Broadcasting live from the General Jose Maria Arteaga Auditorium in Mexico City, Episode 4 aired on Fox and YouTube. The night featured major title changes, intense family drama, and high-flying qualifiers. Here is your complete recap.
Dominik Mysterio Challenges Vikingo for Hair vs. Hair
The show opened with huge stakes. Dominik Mysterio arrived wearing street clothes and touting two title belts. With Rey Mysterio translating on commentary, Dominik declared himself the “King of Luchadors.” He claimed full credit for AAA’s growth and their new television deal.
However, the celebration was short-lived. El Hijo Del Vikingo, Dorian, and Omos interrupted the segment. Vikingo immediately challenged Dominik to a match on March 14 in Puebla. Raising the stakes, Vikingo demanded they put their hair on the line. Dominik accepted, vowing to humiliate Vikingo in front of his family.
New AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions Crowned
Backstage drama heavily influenced the title scene. Chelsea Green appeared via video, revealing a foot injury that barred her from competing. Consequently, La Hiedra teamed with Ethan Page to defend the AAA Mixed Tag Titles against Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana.
The match featured “WWE-style rules,” meaning male and female competitors had to tag out for their counterparts. Mr. Iguana utilized his speed with a huracanrana, while Lola Vice delivered brutal kicks. Ultimately, Lola Vice hit a superkick to pin La Hiedra. We have new champions: Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana.
El Grande Americano Wins Rey de Reyes Qualifier
The main event was a chaotic four-way match. “The Original” El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) battled Rey Fenix, Dragon Lee, and Octagon Jr. Earlier, Gable had attacked his imposter backstage to secure his spot.
The match was a “lucha dream” scenario. Fans witnessed incredible moves, including a Styles Clash from Lee and a Poison Rana from Octagon Jr. In the climax, Gable loaded his mask for a devastating headbutt. He pinned Octagon Jr., qualifying for the prestigious Rey de Reyes tournament.
