“He looked good, but it’s something very common to see in gyms. He is very slow. That weight cut ended up working against him. I have more experience and I was able to read everything he was doing, which made the fight easier,” Mario stated.
The loss for Oliveira was significant for the Brazilian, who suffered his first defeat in the octagon and saw a major opportunity to climb the bantamweight rankings slip away.”
