At the 2025 IMMAF Pan American Mixed Martial Arts Championship in Monterrey, the national team captured an incredible 71 medals, securing its fifth consecutive continental title. The achievement came with 31 gold, 30 silver, and 13 bronze medals, according to the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport.
The result marks a historic run for Mexican MMA. It also highlights a level of consistency rarely seen in the region. Even more impressive, the team outperformed the United States in both the senior and youth divisions, a storyline that continues to fuel national pride.
Senior and Youth Teams Deliver Big Wins
In the senior category, Mexico collected 13 gold, 7 silver, and 6 bronze medals, reinforcing its status as the nation to beat. However, the youth squad added an even bigger spark. Thanks to these results, Mexico extends a dominant streak built over triumphant campaigns in Bogotá 2024, Santiago 2023, Monterrey 2022, and Bahamas 2019. Every year, Mexico’s athletes show greater discipline, sharper technique, and unmatched heart.
A Growing Force on the Global Stage
Mexico’s Pan American success also connects to its recent momentum at the World Championship in Tbilisi, Georgia. There, the delegation earned two silver medals and one bronze, confirming that Mexican MMA is evolving not only regionally but also internationally.
This continued growth signals something bigger: Mexico is no longer just a strong competitor — it is becoming a global force in amateur MMA. With a new generation of athletes rising fast and a proven system delivering results, the country’s path toward even greater achievements looks unstoppable.
