“Rock’n Box” Returns To The Riviera Maya
“Rock’n Box” returns to the Riviera Maya this Saturday, December 7, with a night full of boxing, music and adrenaline in Puerto Aventuras. The event will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, where Cancun’s Eric “Pitbull” Gamboa will face Jalisco’s Ernesto “Terrible” Garcia in the main event.
An Electrifying Fight and More
The main event will be an electrifying eight-round fight in the Bantamweight division. In addition, there will be nine action-packed bouts. Attendees will enjoy live music, making this event a unique experience for boxing and music fans.
Highlights from the Pre-Fight Press Conference
On Thursday, the mayor of Puerto Aventuras, Gilberto Gómez Martínez, participated in a press conference with the organizers of the event. He thanked the promoters for bringing a high quality event to the region. Also present were Patricia Fajardo of TM Boxing and Alberto Lopez, Director of the Municipal Sports Institute of Solidaridad. Doors to the Hard Rock Hotel Convention Center will open at 6:30 PM. Live coverage will begin at 9:00 PM on Multimedios Channel 6. Fans will be able to watch all the action live.
Building a Strong Foundation
Eric Ibarra of TM Boxing highlighted the collaboration between the local government and private companies. He said that Puerto Aventuras has become a key place for top level boxing. This event will be no exception. In addition, boxing legends Jackie “La Guerrera Azteca” Nava, Rafael Márquez and Eduardo “Lalo” Camarena will provide live commentary.
