Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman
COACHELLA, CA — As the reigning WBC Super Welterweight Champion, Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora is stepping into his October 25 Pay-Per-View clash against former unified champion Keith “One Time” Thurman with one clear mission: to prove he’s unbeatable! WBC Champ Fundora Ready for PPV Headliner in Las Vegas its Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman.
“I don’t care if it’s my height or my power,” said Fundora. “I want my opponent to feel like it’s impossible to beat me.”
That confidence stems from his July dismantling of Tim Tszyu in their highly anticipated rematch. After a strategic points win in their first bout, Fundora (23-1-1, 15 KOs) returned to the gym with a vengeance, dropping Tszyu in the opening round and dominating until the final bell.
Training with Champions
Sebastian trains under his father, Freddy Fundora — a Trainer of the Year contender — and has been sharing training camps with his sister Gabriela Fundora, the undisputed flyweight queen, who defends her titles this weekend.
“Training with Gabi helps us both,” said Sebastian. “Watching her spar as a southpaw gave me new insights I used in my own prep. We’re learning from each other every session.”
Together, they’re rewriting boxing history as the only brother-sister world champion duo ever.
Thurman: The Biggest Test Yet
Now 27, Fundora is facing his most decorated opponent yet in Thurman — a fighter he once watched on TV while dreaming of his own championship future.
“I grew up watching him,” Fundora admitted. “I’ve always respected him, but now it’s my time to shine. I didn’t expect to fight him, but I always wanted the biggest fights.”
He plans to stop Thurman before the final bell — marking his third straight dominant finish.
