Sebastian Alexander Fundora was born on December 28, 1997. He has quickly emerged as one of boxing’s brightest stars. As of March 2024, Fundora holds the WBC and WBO unified middleweight titles. July 2024, The Ring ranked him as the top active middleweight. His rise began in September 2016, with a first round knockout over Jose Cardenas. This catapulted him to an undefeated 12-0 record over the next three years.
His career is a testament to resilience. His key victories include wins over Daniel Lewis in 2020 and Tim Tszyuin 2024, which gave him unified titles. He also scored a ninth-round stoppage over Erickson Lubin in 2022. That same year, he defeated Carlos Ocampo by unanimous decision. Although he suffered his first loss to Brian Mendoza in April 2023, Fundora remains a fierce competitor. He currently has a record of 21 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw, with 13 knockouts.
