Spain vibrates with MMA at Torrejón de Ardoz
Torrejón de Ardoz became the national capital of amateur MMA in Spain on June 6 and 7, 2025, by hosting the Spanish Mixed Martial Arts Championships at the Javi Limones Pavilion, inside the Joaquín Blume Sports City. More than 150 fighters, including juniors and seniors, offered electrifying fights that position the city as a sports reference. Spain vibrates with MMA in Torrejón de Ardoz.
Three cages, two days, pure adrenalin
Organized by the Spanish Wrestling Federation, with the support of the promoter WOW and the Torrejón City Hall, the event deployed three simultaneous fighting cages, allowing a continuous show for the public. Participants of all categories and weights, in male and female versions, lit up the atmosphere with every fight.
Illustrious presences and clear objectives
The event was attended by Mayor Alejandro Navarro Prieto and the Councilor for Tourism, Miriam Gutiérrez, a former world champion. Both underlined the city’s strong commitment to sport and to the organization of high-level events.

“The level of this championship reaffirms that Torrejón de Ardoz is the City of Sport,” declared the mayor. “Our facilities and commitment position us as firm candidates for European City of Sport 2026.”
