Tuxpan Set to Host MMA Tournament
TUXPAN, VERACRUZ – Tuxpan will host an MMA tournament on January 25th, marking a historic moment for MMA in Veracruz. La Asociación de Artes Marciales Mixtas del Golfo is organizing the event to bring together athletes from across the region. Competitors of all ages and skill levels can join the Federación Mexicana de Artes Marciales Mixtas (FMMA).
A GAME-CHANGER FOR MMA IN VERACRUZ
With categories from youth to adult, the tournament will showcase impressive talent. More than just a competition, it offers fighters national and international exposure, helping them advance their skills.
Local academies and gyms will unite under the FMMA banner, boosting the growth of MMA as a discipline and sport in Veracruz. This collaboration will create new opportunities for mixed martial arts development in Mexico generating new National and International interests for the Veracruz , Mexico region.

“We are thrilled to host the First State Affiliation MMA Tournament in Tuxpan. This event is a landmark for our sport in Veracruz, and we believe it will open new doors for local talent,” said Agustín Guzmán Arellano, President of La Asociación de Artes Marciales Mixtas del Golfo.
