More than 200 participants from over 30 academies showed their strength, skill, and spirit this past weekend. Tuxpan Shines at the 2025 State MMA Tournament!
Professor Agustín Guzmán Arellano, president of the AAMMG, proudly announced the outstanding turnout. Fighters competed fiercely across four categories: novice, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each bout displayed dedication, heart, and the future of MMA in Veracruz.
New Champions Rise and National Dreams Begin
The tournament wasn’t just about winning medals — it was a gateway to greater glory! Around 60 talented athletes secured their place at the upcoming Torneo Nacional de Artes Marciales Mixtas in Chihuahua this August.
Among the stars who dazzled the crowd were Damían Reyes García, Maetzi Moreno Mejía, and Bárbara Gayosso Sanabia. Fighters like William Velázquez Sánchez and Diana Zamorano Balderas also stood out, proving that Veracruz is bursting with martial arts talent.
