Undefeated Mexican flyweight (125 pounds/57 kilograms) MMA star Regina “Kill Bill” Tarin (7-0) is apparently heading to the WWE tryouts this week at the world’s leader in professional wrestling’s performance center in Orlando, Fla.
Infobae reported this news over the weekend.
The 21-year-old Tarin’s attempt to crossover to professional wrestling should come as no surprise to fans. In the cage, the Combate Global veteran and Budo Sento champion has been as entertaining as she has been effective as a fighter.
At the same time, the WWE made a significant investment in the Mexican market last year when it acquired a controlling stake in the country’s top Lucha Libre promotion, AAA Worldwide.
Tarin captured the attention of fight fans worldwide and fight industry executives in her third Combate Global fight on June 19, 2025, when she easily defeated former The Ultimate Fighter contestant Kaytlin Neil in a one-sided bout.
More recently, Tarin scored a first round (2:03) knockout of Yurivia Jimenez with a right hook in a low-profile fight in Costa Rica on November 29.
Among others who will also be auditioning at the WWE tryouts are former TNA competitor, Bhupinder Gujjar and independent wrestler Starboy Charlie.
