UWC 55: Women’s Flyweight Title Debut in Tijuana
Tijuana, B.C. – UWC 55: Women’s Flyweight Title Debut will be held on Sunday, February 23 at the Fausto Gutierrez Moreno Auditorium. This event will mark the beginning of the 2025 MMA season, and will celebrate 16 years of success for Ultimate Warrior Challenge Mexico(UWC). The night will include the inaugural Women’s Flyweight Championship fight and a lineup full of exciting bouts.
A Historic Milestone for UWC
“We have confirmed the date with Imdet. In addition, we are finalizing the details to announce the official lineup,” commented Alejandro Islas, president of UWC. “Our matchmaker Alejandro Riqué has confirmed the main event: a title fight in the 125-pound division between two favorite female fighters.”
Professional bouts will begin at 3:00 PM. There will be six fights on the main card. Fans from around the world will be able to enjoy the action live via UFC Fight Pass, guaranteeing international access. In addition, more fights will be announced soon, adding even more excitement.

Unlike other events, UWC 55 offers tiered pricing. Thus, all budgets are catered for. General admission will cost only 150 pesos. This will allow more people to enjoy the event at an affordable price. On the other hand, numbered preferred seats will be available for 250 pesos, while front row tickets will cost 400 pesos.
