UWC Kicks Off 2025 with MMA Showdown in Tijuana
UWC (Ultimate Warrior Challenge Mexico) kicks off 2025 with an exciting MMA event in Tijuana. The show, full of electrifying fights, will take place on Sunday, February 23rd at the Fausto Gutierrez Moreno Auditorium. Main Event: “Super Glue” vs. “Chupón”.
The main event will pit CQuence Jiu Jitsu‘s Alan “Super Glue” Martinez against Mexican Pride Team’s Osvaldo “Chupon” Segura. Martinez weighs in at 126 pounds and is looking to extend his undefeated streak to 12-0. On the other hand, Segura, weighing in at 125.4 pounds, is hoping to make a big statement with a win. This flyweight fight is expected to be fast, technical and full of excitement for the Tijuana fans.
Co-Main Event: Featherweight Clash
In the co-main event, veteran Juan Pablo “Molo” Gonzalez, of Buenos Aires, Argentina, returns to the UWC cage. He weighed in at 141.2 pounds, the same as his opponent, Jesus “Semental” Garnica, of Supreme Fight Club, Aguascalientes. This featherweight bout promises to be electrifying, as both fighters look to prove their worth in front of an expectant crowd in Tijuana.

Alexis “Mantis” Medina (6-1-0), from Tijuana, will face Roman “Gallo Negro” Barro Cordova (17-17-0), from Casa Chimeyo, in a catchweight bout. Meanwhile, Gabriel “Chacal” Urbino (4-1-0), from Rio Cuarto, Argentina, will face Diego “Cometín” Silva (9-6-0), from Atizapán de Zaragoza, in the flyweight division.
