Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Mexican MMA fighter Fabio César López Pérez Fabio Cesar Lopez Perez has made history by advancing to the semifinals of the IMMAF MMA 2024 World IMMAF MMA 2024 World Championshipheld for the first time in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The IMMAF 2024 World Championships, organized by the Uzbekistan MMA Associationmarks a significant moment in the sport, as Tashkent becomes the world stage for future MMA stars. Previous IMMAF champions, such as female MMA fighters Manon Fiorot y Amanda Ribashave proven the championship’s status as a launching pad to professional success. Now, rising talents like Lopez aim to follow in their footsteps.
Lopez’ s victory is an important milestone for the Mexican team, which is seeking its first medal in the event. “This is the result of years of preparation and dedication.” she said after her victory. “I will take home a medal and, hopefully, a title for Mexico.”
With Lopez now in the semifinals, she joins her teammates Maria Blanco, Sergio Anaya, Jeovanni Rivadeneyra y Francisco Escobar in the quest for glory. As the IMMAF 2024 World Championship continues, Lopez and his fellow competitors hope to become part of MMA history, following in the footsteps of global stars who once competed in these same tournaments.
