Veracruz prepares for the Continental MMA Championship
As part of the Second Continental Open Championship of Mixed Martial Arts(OCAMM), to be held in Zipaquira, Colombia, on February 22 and 23, Veracruz is preparing for the Continental MMA Championship. This event will bring together the best athletes in the Americas. Three young fighters from Team Piedra Academy in Veracruz, Sergio Esteban Guzman Becerra, Melissa Zuasty Vazquez and Jose Martin Morales Vera, are ready to represent Mexico with pride. They will compete for the title in a major international MMA championship.
Veracruz wrestlers ready for the OCAMM
The three wrestlers will compete in OCAMM’s youth divisions. They will face opponents from across the Americas. Sergio Esteban Guzman Becerra (17 years old), Melissa Zuasty Vazquez (17 years old) and Jose Martin Morales Vera (15 years old) will compete in their respective categories. Sergio and Melissa will be in Juvenil A Advanced. José will compete in Juvenile B Advanced. The competition will be challenging. However, these young athletes are ready to give their best and represent Mexico with pride.
